So, as of Saturday MAY 17th, our Eau de Parfums are now available for $125 per ounce.
I use the highest quality oils and absolutes on the planet, so I believe my products are well worth the new price increase. This is due to the 2025 tariff taxes that have affected my business in more ways than one.
I’m unable to import many of the unique packaging that I’ve used before i.e. the gorgeous chrome and electroplated bottles for my aromatherapy products, the chic and modern 30-50 ml. acrylic jars for my LUSH creme. Several countries are now banning shipments to the United States. I’m not being dramatic or making this up. It’s currently the situation. Even if I wanted to be stupid enough to pay the $145% tariff increase (or whatever amount they are today) sometimes we don’t even get to have that option. Products from the UK and China are not being shipped here.
I used to order clear glass 30 ml bottles from WITHIN the Unites States, and they’re complete gone. TOTALLY DEPLETED when it comes to bulk wholesale ordering. Sure I can order one bottle at a time, but that’s %$^*$@&!. On the positive side, I found a new wholesaler in ITALY who’s willing to ship to the United States. My 30 ml. Italian glass bottles are perfect and crimp sealed (they don’t leak). so there’s that 🙂
The oils and absolutes are NO DOUBT going to be more expensive and I can only imagine what that scenario may look like. Some of the best oils in the world are imported. It’s not like you can find Osmanthus, Bulgarian Rose or Boronia Absolute within the United States. I was prepared for this INFLUX OF CHAOS and currently I’m well stocked (for now).
Anyway, if you want cheap perfume, look elsewhere. If you can’t afford my products, then you don’t really need them, right? Meanwhile, here’s a beautiful pic of a fresh, blooming peony.
