C R I T I Q U E S
“It’s too expensive.” Yes, our fragrances are pricey. We source the finest absolutes and extracts from all over the world. If it was cheap to produce, we’d be selling cheap fragrances. Many absolutes can average up to $900 per ounce (and the tariffs don’t help).
“They don’t last very long” True. Our fragrances average 40-100% natural, so while beautifully authentic, they are fleeting. This is where aromatherapy meets perfumery. Enjoying our fragrances is like taking the time to stop and smell a rose during an afternoon walk. While appreciating its fragrance beauty in the moment, it will eventually fade away. If only we could keep that magic going forever! If anyone prefers long lasting (highly synthetic) fragrances, the department store brands have plenty to choose from.
“I loved the first bottle, but the replacement was awful”. If this EVER happens, we’ll fix it! We use natural raw materials, and many batches of absolutes and extracts can vary in quality (even though we source from the best). Save your Batch Code #’s so we can accurately create the blend you originally fell in love with. We don’t alter our formulas very often, so if something seems off, let us know! Sometimes, our perfumer may make a mathematical error (the horror) but this doesn’t happen too often. If you notice something’s off, we’ll correct our mistake (or die trying).
